@Woelf: Do you know if there is a reason that Wizkids often used the term “boarding action” instead of “boarding party”?
Seems to me that using “boarding party” would avoid potential confusion for players thinking that boarding is (maybe only for certain abilities) a full action.

@Woelf: Just to confirm, the ignoring terrain ability does not allow you to shoot while overlapping a fog bank either? (similar to Ghost Ship as discussed above)

Q2) Davy Jones (DJC) copies the Fog-Hopping ability and moved into a fog. Since his ability is reset on the next turn, can the ability be recopied and ‘hop’ out of another fog with a move action? Does the ability need to be recopied or is it carried over from the last turn?
Copied abilities generally do not carry over, so he would have to cop… -

We’re already thinking of re-wording the Olmak to be similar to the Necklace of the Sky from SS. I suppose that the Ignika could be abused on a SAC build ship, but you’d still need to get good rolls, which rarely a guarantee.

@woelf I have a hunch that “eliminate a cargo” abilities usually meant just treasure, not treasure or crew. Every crew killer ability I can think of is only once per turn, so if cargo killer abilities were always meant to affect crew as well as treasure, I would assume they also would have gotten a OPT, no? @Woelf: Is the Amity from CC supposed to be a common? She is on the cards but the spreadsheet(s) list her as uncommon, which is normal for her ship type.

If I have an ability that moves an enemy ship (like an L-mover on a 5-6), how does the timing of d6 rolls work with sargasso seas when forcing a ship onto one of them? @Ben and, @Woelf: I Don’t know how much this ability is but I’d say that it’s about 10 points;
Once per turn, One ship within S of this ship cannot use it’s abilities this turn.
This ship gains that ship’s abilities for this turn.

Hey @Woelf, I’ve been wondering can you put a Tribal Chieftain of a different nation Say the Cursed Chieftain on the HMS Concorde, Would the Chieftain still be able to command the Cursed Native Canoes?
And also, can you stack the S-Cancel abilities?

@Woelf: Why does Barrel o’ Monkeys require you to load the transferred UT face down even if the UT transferred is normally always a face up UT?
Can an opponent request or force you to reveal face down crew on a setup with a reducer to prove that it’s legal?

@Woelf: Lukas gives me an idea for one of the most weird and obscure combos ever. Per the Code for the Fog Hopper ability, bottom of Page 28. Would this be a legal way of removing an enemy fog hopper from play?
1. Create a fog bank with a smokepot specialist.

Correct, “you do not need to target a ship”. Though you don’t need a captain if you’re just “shooting” without moving.
