I have been looking for the Silver Coffin for… I don’t know, ages, still can’t get my hands on her 🙁
Finally, my first battle after a very long time.
Fun fact – I played versus my wife.
Fleets- I made her a Pirate fleet consisting of:
1. Darkhawk II with Genny Gallows, explorer, helmsman;
2. Banshee’s cry with explorer;
3. Bloody Jewel with explorer;
4. Star of Siam with explorer;
5. Mermaid.
My Cursed fleet:
1. Sea monkey with explorer;
2. Sea duck with explorer;
3. Sea rat with helmsman and explorer;
4. Nightmare.
(Should have made photos… 🙁 )
Highlights of the game:
Sea monkey sinks Star of Siam,
Mermaid and Jewel preventing Sea rat from quickly reaching my HI,
Darkhawk with Genny for the win.
another unrelated note-
wish they made more turtle ships, including two-masters.
And gave them some smoke ability to hide them, just like the originals did.
In real life they were pretty big, with about 100-120 crew/oarsmen, and 50 soldiers.
Looking for Bloody Blade (yes, I like poke ships 🙂 )
Anyone has one he is willing to part with? In above posts there is list of ships I can trade for it.
If I remember correctly, in PotR and DJC the card packs with ultra rares were in any second card pack box. I talked to the shop owner were I used to buy boxes and he told me that.
But if it’s actually true, I’m not sure.
I was building Demon Gate (Savage shores) yesterday, and the holes in the ship were so small, they barely fit, same when i assembled Rook’s folly and Celestine some time ago. Celestine had so small gaps, I had to enlarge them a bit with a modelling knife to fit parts.
So, was I unlucky with not fitting ships, or is Savage Shore printed on a lower quality? Did you guys have problems like this with ships from this expansion?

With Hag of tortuga / Sargasso Nightmare this will be a great boost for Laviathan / Calim.
Fear is extremely over priced.
You cannot make a good fleet with it. A good idea is to make fear work on like 3+, with 3-4 being the current 5, and 5-6 being the current 6 roll.
Right now it’s pretty useless unless you’re playing more then 1 opponent, and you can have fear affect more then 1 ship.

Good point. Yes, that’s sir Edward from F&S. I overthink it some times, the cost reducer is a bit too much here.
But with Davy Jones, Captain and helmsman, yes, I like the idea.
I wonder, did someone actually made a Cursed fleet with 2 – 3 sea monsters, for 80 points, that’s actually playable?
And not only Behemoth or Tsuro as “distraction targets”.

Yes, this is more of a death match fleet, Cursed are not for gathering gold, unfortunately.
With 4 cargo Divine Dragon can carry linked El Fantasma, helmsman, sir Edward and 2x oarsmen.
While tempting, I didn’t put OE Davy Jones, because I wanted the fleet to be as much of El Fantasma’s as possible.

Well, my favourite combat fleet of El Fantasma for 80 pointa from the Cursed is this:
Divine Dragon with El Fantasma, helmsman and action fodder (oarsmen), but since I lately aquired Sir Edward, he could come in handy.
Executioner with captain,
Hellfire with captain and helmsman ( I seriously think this ship was heavily underrated)
Behemoth (Everybody gangsta, until a giant kraken appears from under the waves. And shoots).
Also, for a lighter approach I like Juggernaught, with captain and helmsman. Because I like 4 master schooners.
Also I’m tempted for a serpent’s fang with hag of tortuga, Behemoth, Calim and mist walker. That’s 5 L movement. Tempting. But I lack the longboat and Hag 🙁

Is there a Cursed catamaran? I think i saw it, read flavour text, but i can’t remember its name and can’t find it in internet… 🙁
Quick question after Reading all FAQ etc, just to be sure:
Recently I aquired the Abomination.
Mast cannons: 3L-3S-3S-3L
Ship’s plate cannons: 3S-3L-3L-3S
I use the ones printed on masts in this case right?
Somehow I sense too many free actions. Maybe make the cargo transfer not optional, you transfer all you can, and the rest is lost.
Also Whydah is Cursed… So Sam should be too.
I know the chances are slim, but… I’m looking for those cute little turtle ships from Davy Jones curse:
