There are a few crew whose names I always have trouble typing or that I wish were shorter… Sean “Cannonball” Gallows from RotF being the main one. He seems too young to be called “Mr. Gallows” perhaps….

Nice list, no arguing with the top spot! Calypso is a completely unique ability within the game, so I’d probably include her somewhere, but this is the BEST crew, and she’s not always the best…..
Got a real kick out of the dishonorable mention. 😀-
Calypso is fun and gimmicky, but probably not as purely effective for winning.
Hopefully Emperor Blackheart won’t recruit the tiger to attack me, but I think it had to be done. XD

Question, does OE Cat’s World Hater stack with other +1 abilities (IE, +1 to cannon rolls of you have a captain)?

If the triggers are different (which they are in that case), then yes. You just can’t stack identical abilities. Full details on page 16 of The Pirate Code.

Okay, so OE Cat on Cat’s Claw with a captain is an okay budget gunship if needed (still would probably go for a bigger ship, though)

Here is a model of Fort Jefferson that I printed out! I cut out most of the excess material in 3D Builder with a hollow cylinder and blocks. Then I scaled the X axis down to 200mm (I think), so the print would fit on the printer bed. 5 master for scale. In the future I might try another print with it and try to get it more to scale. Kinda saw the Pirate attack on the Spanish coming, there really was only one place for all those ships to go.
Why is Bad Plans a negative UT? There are no mysterious islands in play, it’s essentially useless and negligible.Ouch, I remember that rune combo from the first CoE game you did. I literally lol’d when you said the conglomerate was a threat. Against what the pirates have assembled I don’t think ANY faction on the seas can challenge them, unless the Cursed pull a fast one on them. Heh, that’d be interesting, if the Pirates used the Odin Missile on one of the Cursed super tens.

Is there a good way to find out what any of this is worth?
That is difficult because the market for Pirates CSG can be so random and volatile. Prices have risen over the past 3 or so years, but my eBay prices spreadsheet might help a little. There’s definitely no established price guide or anything, some ships sell for $20 and $4 in the same w…[Read more]

I think you could be fine posting the story inserts in both places, since they have some lore implications for the next set.

I’m excited about the possibilities with customs too, especially long term (10+ years).
Yeah Blackheart started taking over towards the end but The Cursed got lucky with gold early at the Torus fort and nobody caught them.
