Today is June 27th 2021.  10 years ago today I joined Miniature Trading!  Although the site shut down on July 1st 2019, it was the hub of Pirates CSG on the internet for about the full 11 years since Wizkids shut down on November 10th 2008.

Privateer pieces are not eliminated if they dock at an island that shares a port and a fort.

I won’t be too happy with the Spanish if the Pirates narrowly beat them in ship count at the end partly as a result of this truce… all very interesting nonetheless.  And maybe the Spanish didn’t know at the time that the end was near….

Can Windcatcher be copied to a 10 master to allow it the 180 rotation?

The Code says: “-If part of a keyword refers to a specific ship type, such as catamaran or submarine, that part can be used only by ships of that ship type. Copying a keyword does not change a ship’s type.”  Windcatcher starts with “when a ship with this keyword”….

I think Corodum could be simplified in the wording.  Something like “For every turn this ship is not docked at your home island, add 1 gold to the value of this treasure to maximum of +5” to eliminate some of the redundant verbiage.  You also don’t need the word “but” at the beginning of any sentences.

All three look fair and playable!

(spoiler alert) I like how the strategy makes sense – that the Pirates would wait until the opportune moment to strike, and that the Spanish and French might be able to make amends seeing a common foe.
