If Davy Jones copies the ability that states a specific ship type, such as “…this sea monster…” or “…this sea creature…” would Jones be able to use that ability, or would he not be able to, being a crew on a ship instead of a sea monster/creature?

Is there any way to bring something “extra” along for a fog hop? “If this ship (sea monster) ends her turn in a fog bank, on her next turn she may use her move action to move out of any other fog bank in play.”
It definitely wouldn’t work with flotillas, and I assume not with towing a derelict either.You can tow derelicts and Flotillas…[Read more]

Also, if everything is “costed right” you may need to increase the suggested point limit of standard games from 40 to something else, as a fleet made of costed right ships might get you one or two ships in a fleet (without heavy crew combos) and max out your build total of 40.

Might be options overload, or could lead to situations where player skill, knowledge and luck become more driving factors than certain ships simply being better than other ships.

Every time I see stuff about Dragut I think about what could have been. He definitely seems like a crew that should have been a lot more powerful, maybe even All-Powerful heh.
