I have made several fogs(white cardboard) and lots of sargosso with varied green cardboard(my favorite of which is a green river with a croc floating in it…its from the back of a halloween cereal box)

I use dice to represent how many masts a ship has left after a brand new ship broke its mast tab right out of the pack.

I would love to see good rule changes as long as it was always streamlined

I love the simplicity of the idea that all towing would be the same

I made 2 3d icebergs made out of foam and i love them but they made me realize that my carry case didn’t have much room for terrain that isn’t flat. Since then I’ve been using any cardboard, cardstock or flat colored piece of trash.

I would value those blank cards equally to the real ones!

I would think its very balenced to give 1 gold value to each ship you have in the end.no less,no more it will basically give incentive to not kamakaze and to capture a ship instead of wrecking it

I use decent cardstock(old business cards)and ive tried gift cards but they can be slow going…took me an hour to produce a scorpion.I don’t build mine to be deconstructed but if I painted each part separately that may be possible.

I guess I just kind of imagined a crew hanging out on his dorsal fins and head but as for treasure thats a good point he only has 2 hands and a mouth I suppose there should be an ability that states he may only carry crew

I like the shipwreck idea, right now in my games if any ship within S of an isle  sinks they become a wreck (shallow waters)

Maybe shiprights should be able to repair a mast while docked as a free action,in addition to their reguler ability as to give them more HI advantage and let them explore and repair(in my games shiprights only do well when their on the winning ship it would be nice to see a losing player break for an island for saftey)

I like the idea of cardboard as long as it’s strong(I can’t imagine the wood will be to cheap), I just finished a 5 mast in between posting I’ll Change my profile pic to show it off after its paint dries.

Yeah exactly,ive already made a seamonster with some thin cardstock but I would love to hear or see other methods(cost is a big factor since I don’t wanna buy more ships unless their like 50cents) p.s. you replied tge moment I found your profile to message you.

Thank you for the reply I will just be sure to test them out before I go to far with them. Ive also been wondering what everyone uses for their custom ships
