Ben

Time to respond to 3 months’ worth of posts in this thread!  XD

@JW Darkhurst: Thank you for the feedback!

I like the Garroway and Luke Gray.  Morgenstern sounds like she’s in a pretty messed up situation… maybe the Loa can get involved somehow.  😉

Besides I think the last line of his ability text prevents any kind of use on non-Corsair sh…

CG4 has continued!

@Xerecs: Sounds like a fun day of action!  A lot of these customs still seem overpowered to me, but I guess I always think that about your customs.  XD  (I think it’s the overabundance of action generators)

Unfortunately the Endeavour got Morgan’s Extra Action, and surged through the gap and laid waste to the Vengance, sinking her.

Yes!  Go Engli…[Read more]

What are your favorite crimson coast pieces?

Honestly a HUGE percentage of the set.  I think it is the set with the least amount of flaws (or “most perfect”).  Raven, Royal James, Victoire, HMS London, Deliverance and the French 5 masters come to mind first.  Lots of good crew too.

Is there any better feeling than cracking packs?

Not much be…[Read more]

Would anybody try something like this? Any ideas to make it better?

I think it’s a neat idea, limit the pool of available ships so people can’t just use OP stuff all the time.

Yea, with only 525 ships I’m afraid I’m at the shallow end of the physical collection pool.

O_O  That’s a LOT!  Probably more than most people have.  I’m not sure if I have…[Read more]

I also remember my frustration as a kid from breaking my El Toro during assembly!

I remember breaking 2 crabs in a short span of time a few years ago – they can be surprisingly fragile.

From a few recent listings I watched, it looks like prices have come down a bit this year.  With the exception of an SM box of 36 packs for $263.  A set of 8 busts sold for $58.

Still some decent things up, main auction I see is MIx18.

If you are interested in the Final List, i will send them to you via Email.

@Ronnie: Because of this, I moved your responses from the eBay thread to this more relevant thread.

How do you guys usually pick your game types or fleets when going into a new campaign?

Game type as in what ruleset you would use for a campaign game? (now I see your response to Xerecs’ similar question haha)  I don’t usually think too hard about starting fleets for a campaign game – it’s usually about 30 points and everyone just runs…[Read more]

I HAVE RETURNED!  Hopefully for a while but that could change.  Feels great to be back!!

I hope to “officially” return soon…. 😀

@Robert: Thank you!  Looks like the last 5 star admiral retired in 1949!  🙂

I probably got my wires crossed on the Delusion/Baochuan then..they were all from the same seller, right?

I think so, though I deleted them from my watch list.

Do you mean you see the Celtic Fury posted in the $60-100 range for Buy it Now?  I rarely see that one go that high in bidding.

Extreme patience (along with being a super active and…[Read more]

No guarantees I’ll be able to get on here in the next few days, so if not, I’ll be back hopefully in March or April!  😀

I think the Zeus went for around 90$, and surprisingly the Delusion sold for more than a Baochuan both between 20-40 I think.

Wow, I actually did start watching those before I left or something.  I’m seeing the Delusion for $23.50 and the Baochuan for $27.26, but maybe we’re looking at different auctions.

Unless I missed one, these are the last…[Read more]

Only two votes in but the deadline is up….

Congratulations to Piranha for making it into the Pirates CSG Hall of Fame!

(If you’re not familiar with him, here’s the podcast episode we made!)

@Randy: Nice!  Very different take on the abilities.  Nice flavor text.  🙂  Thanks for making that!  Indeed, any day now could be my last “back” online.

Time to vote is almost up!
