That’s me these days. I don’t play solo, and there are no experienced players near me so I try to teach new people the game at my LGS.

I’m just thinking about how crazy-popular TCGs have become. I run an online shop for MTG cards, which are always in demand. There is a market theory called the long tail, which refers to the fact that demand for a product (especially a collectible) never reaches zero. My question would be; were there creative changes or rule changes made in order to facilitate it being a video game? How close was it to a 1:1?

I was sad to miss the 20th anniversary showing but the movie is a masterpiece. It felt like the Starwars of my generation. Everything pirates related exploded after that movie.

“The Bounty” Is a good naval movie and is based on a true story. Not about Pirates though.

There is also “Black Sails” which is a prequel TV series to the novel Treasure Island.

I have to say that I mostly agree with Andrew here. The only benefit of a digital version of the game that I see is that it would do the same thing vassal does now. i.e. let players from around the world play together. I play Magic the Gathering a lot. I used to play competitively until Covid. Now I am out of the loop and probably won’t return. They release a set like every two months, which ruins the experience. You’re probably right about the deterioration of the sealing agent. Probably some type of glue.

That’s good. I was also wondering because I got some packs of CC and a couple of them the bottom seal looked odd and I got an American crew. I didn’t know that was possible in CC but I looked it up and there is one American ship in the set.

Very good. I meany more along the lines of how to spot a deal if you’re someone who isn’t up to date with the current market.

I just picked up a couple of packs of Crimson Coast because that’s what I had when I stopped playing. but it was a way more active auction than I thought it would be.

Do you have any specific recommendations?
