12 is pretty cheap for that ability. Would 16-18 be better?

Yeah, I just realized it’s like a moveable Cursed Zone.  As usual I like to keep things more expensive to start so games are less likely to be ruined by OP stuff, so 18 sounds good.

Quite the opposite of my own Calamity, which is a 10 masted junk.  XD

I can make L-Range happen. About the same points for that as currently?

In addition to that, I think it should be more expensive.  That ability makes cannons far less likely to hit, and it makes SAT and EA impossible to use.  (among other things)

And still some news on it: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/10/18/lord-nelsons-hand-drawn-battle-plans-battle-trafalgar-discovered/

At this point I think I’d have to see the Ryuk in play to form a better opinion of the ship.

Marra is impressive, though I think the ability should say “within L of this ship” so there’s no confusion.  I would probably want her towing a flotilla as part of a battle squadron.

Great flavor text for the Blue Blood, and seems like the right cost too.

Hi Captain Randy, glad to have you aboard!  Sorry that you weren’t able to post; I’ll be looking at the Pending replies more often from now on. (no idea why yours went there though)

Loved reading your story and how much you love the game!  Unique to hear about your relationship with Brachyura.  Certainly not a crab you want to mess with!  🙂 …[Read more]

I used to play some large fleet action games with friends where we would use duplicate ships as others in a “class” based on the namesake.

That makes sense!  I would have had a large “Mayfair” and “Birkenhead” class.  XD

For me the overall quality of ship type is dependent on how big a game is being played. If it’s a smaller game, most nations…

The ability text for Ryuk could be: “Instead, select one crew assigned to this ship, and one crew with the exact same abilities on any other ship in play.”  Not that it helps much.  As Woelf said, you could just sit at home and start picking off enemy captains right before they fight your own battle squadron.

I do think Eternal Curse could be 1…[Read more]

Seems as though the mystery may be solved… I’m so glad I saved this picture from old_man that he posted to Miniature Trading a while back:

New Version

Now the first sheet contains all the game pieces (except the 1 of 1’s), with each set still present as well with its own sheet.  For the first sheet, I consolidated the info so it is all trade-based and doesn’t include gameplay stats.

I may just leave it as-is; you can hit File>Download to get your own copy!  Feedback welcome.
