Pretty neat, I’ve never calculated my completion percentages by set but it’s cool. Across all the sets I’m nearly “pack complete”, mostly just missing some SR’s and probably a few random things. Taking LE’s/etc into account I’m probably at least 90% complete for the sets, with the possible exception of something like RotF which has a high percentage of LE’s since it was a small set but with plenty of rare stuff at the end. Although, I’ve never bothered to keep track of generic crew and probably never will. (much more of a player, though someday in the distant future maybe I’ll try to see if there are some I don’t have)
Elsinore is actually a pretty interesting ship.
Love the 6 masted junks, the OE ones are some of the best.

Ya its a neat Longship and the effect certainly gives the Vikings some flexibility. Too bad the speed isn’t better though. Regardless when i saw one on Ebay i jumped on it!

After watching Bens collection Video on the Cursed i went out and got Hades’ Realm. Awesome ship!
Cool! Thanks for watching. She is a really neat ship for them, one of their few that can achieve a high max speed. I like to run her with captain+helmsman and maybe oarsman, to keep a few spots open for gold. Now I want to use her again, so perhaps I’ll be able to fit her into one of the summer games I hope to play.

The love seems to be neverending! XD Getting really excited to play some physical games again after Legend of the Giant Turtle was pretty memorable. Actually I just got out fleets this morning for the next game, though it won’t start quite yet.
They only got a few 5 masters, but the Cursed make up for it a bit with a good set of 4 masters. Some of them are underrated in my opinion, including slow ones like the Whydah and Juggernaut.
Agree, I find with the cursed that there are definitely some ships that need to be used almost every time you make a Cursed faction fleet. (Hades’ Realm, Grim Reaper, or Grinder) I’ll end there. Don’t want to get too off topic XD
Opened my blue tin. 3 Rv packs and 1 BC pack. I got the following:
Enterprise, Yankee, Fort Thompson, La Felicite, Executioner, Le Favori, Granada, HMS Lord Kenyon and a Cannoneer for each of the big 6 and the mermaid event card.
I really liked this pull and I have 5 OE mega packs coming soon.
FYI: I got a return from CCGCastle too.
just opened my five 2 player packs and got three identical “packs” which contained. Squalo + Lady Newport+Cannoneer+Griffin… But that was not why I was getting the packs. I now have all six of the mega cards and picked up a lot of new ships to add to my collection.
Now to wait for my 30 packs of Fire & Steel.
Great! I fondly remember those times when I was consistently adding new ships and crew to my collection.
That is unfortunate about the Mega Packs, and one thing I don’t miss as much lol. (getting lots of dupes, and ones that aren’t that useful in some cases like Squalo)
It is a nice deal on F&S, I’ve thought about it a few times the past few weeks haha. (just that I already have pretty much everything I could pull from the packs of that set)

Recently got my hands on an unpunched Bauchon and did a HW gaming run. Filled out rise of fiends and pirates of the carribean sets including the holo-black pearl. I also bought a few risky lots from ebay that payed off including a lot of barbary coast/crimson coast ships and one unpunched flying dutchman from Davy Jones Curse.
I have been playing again with one of my roommates and I decided for fun to buy a pack of F&S! Well I ended up getting this in the pack! I was pretty shocked to see this!
Nice pull! The FS Super Rares are pretty decent game-play wise. Granted, the Skin Flayer is expensive, and for the same amount of points you can get the Endeavor.

Thanks, I started playing back around when South China was in stores and I couldn’t EVER pull a SR pack… Until Now!! But yes it is pretty usable and yes shes expensive but we usually play 100 point matches so it can work. Plus its no fun if you just use the same OP ships every game. I tried to use the Elsinore… Didnt end well for me XD.

I just bought my first product for the game ever. I purchased a booster box of OE. Excited to get started!
Is there somewhere I can find a set list for OE so that I know what I am looking for?
As soon as you crack a pack you’ll see an OE checklist with the game pieces on it, but you can also use the Master Spreadsheet.
First, anyone who is wary of ordering from HWG, don’t be. I purchased a lot of 36 OE boosters last Friday, and they arrived yesterday. Shipping was prompt and product was securely packaged. My wife and I were both very pleased with the experience so +1 to HWG. Second, my wife and I opened our lot of boosters and I don’t think I’ve had more fun opening product since my very first packs of Magic the Gathering. We opened a little over half of the total set with some duplicates. Unfortunately we opened 5 copies of La Reconquistador lol. As far as good pulls, we pulled most of the rare cards including both the HMS Grand Temple and Divine Dragon. We built probably 20 ships so far and that was a blast. Some of them are frustrating to build (glares accusingly at the junk ships). We have not had a chance to get our first game in yet, but tonight we will. I will post unwanted duplicates once we’ve got them all cataloged. I’d like to be able to trade them for cards we’re missing from the checklist.

Yes, specifically the OE checklist. My wife and I would like to complete the OE set before moving on to another set.
