I had Robinson with Mycron on the Antelope, that helped greatly with some of my efforts. Most of the gold siphoned to the Marhi by Intermediaro was highly valuable, which also helped. We need to try storms and MI’s again, but with more players. 😀

They definitely make for a crazy game. A little too wild to do often in my opinion, but still fun from time to time.

Thanks for the reminder! It was cool, though for me of course it was the sinking of the Baochuan and Neptune’s Hoard in the same round. Quite possibly a different “top moment” for each player. 🙂

It’s a solid gimmick but I think it’s best when you have multiple ships for Intermediaro to use it with (like canoes).

This was a luck win all the way. I didn’t have an optimal set-up on the Enterprise at all, relying on her EA to move and shoot, along with the built in captain on Gog-Clocth. I think the first island had almost all of the gold I got for this game, a very lucky find. However I had no idea of knowing what other coins had been found and figured that if I got a whole islands worth and a little more it might tip things in my favor. Epic Scale is definitely a fun experience, here’s hoping the roster of available ships and crew can be expanded!

I’ve been playing Eternal and reefs wrong as well. This was a fun one, might have to revisit Intermediaro and a lengthy ship again, though I don’t know if I can do much better than the Oxford for a running mate.

I don’t think I had EA capabilities in my fleet, unless I forgot about it. 😀 Anywho, it was a blast to be up there for the weekend and this was an incredible start. If we manage to do this again I’ll try and get video footage, or else just still pictures.

Can you tow a tangled derelict out of a sargasso sea?
Can a ship shoot after freeing itself from a sargasso sea? (by extension, is “its action for the turn” a move action?)

If a crew such as Commodore Matthew Perry (American 0LR +5) is on a shipwreck, I assume that only American ships could load him because he can’t be assigned to ships of other nationalities? If so and it was not the original owner, would it be considered a captured crew or just a free crew?

For spying abilities (such as “Once per turn, this ship may look at one face-down cargo on any ship”), is it every player turn or just on that player’s active turn? (same wording as Canceller so players voted to have it apply to every player turn in last night’s 6 player game)
