Interesting remake. I assume the Bombardier cannon is 3S, since I don’t see it listed with the other cannons? I think this is a much improved version of the Draconum, almost too good. Her cargo I think holds her back from being exceptional, which I think is good, otherwise no one would use the original.

I’ll probably do that, but like I said, I’m hesitant. I’m not sure how they (we?) would be able to clean things up. It’d be great to have the old account back, but starting over might be less of a hassle.

I LOVE the scale of this game! The small ships actually make the games feel like part of a bigger world and seascape, which it looks like some other naval board games lack.

Just to show how wildly unpredictable the market for Pirates is. Been seeing plenty of 3 box lots of DJC (SE boxes) on eBay. Lows were $5, $5.50, etc. Same thing just sold for $50. O_O So that is a 10-fold increase in price even though prices lately haven’t been as high as they were last year, especially last summer.

Then again, at 30 points, the Mercs have some crazy stuff in their ranks, so it could quickly become some kind of dreadnought.
And the Pirates and Cursed make it even crazier. If not for the “all crew have Ransom” negative ability, I’d put this at 35 points, and possibly more like 40.

For the love of Pirates CSG
The very first print run with the “faded” cards was small and sold out almost immediately everywhere.
Unless you’re buying directly from some crazy collector that bought a bunch of stuff early on and buried it somewhere, it is extremely likely (99%) that any unopened boxes or packs you find online will be from the second printing or later.
Woelf is on point as always. I don’t think the packs or boxes were different from 1st Printing of SM vs. 1st Edition not 1st printing.
@Luis: Yeah, I’m not sure how to distinguish first printing vs. limited (non-first printing) for SM packs. They both have the horizontal artwork, but I’m not sure if there is a bar code/SKU difference or any other way to tell them apart.
