You and me both for the Arabella. A couple other things I’m missing, even though they’re rare include La Victoire and Black Swan. Both Pirate five mast ships, and both have eluded me thus far. One day……. 😀

Hmmmm. This sounds cool and a neat idea, but thee HAS to be an even distribution of factions to seller locations. I mean, a 36 pack box should contain six packs for every faction, to make it evenly distributed, more or less. I just think calling it Hidden Gold would be less confusing, especially because “Galleon” makes me think of ship type keywords like Galley

I agree with Ben, calling the ability by two different names would be confusing, like the Born Leader/SAT situation.

Something that JW and I talked about regarding Marines, what if instead of a boarding bonus, a de-buff for an attacking boarder? I already house ruled that marines will eliminate one mast on a hit for CoEC, but I like the idea of them being able to cut though defenses regardless.

It’s funny you mentioned Marines, JW and I are thinking about giving every faction a Generic Marine in one of his upcoming Custom sets. We could implement these ideas to make a “new” marine crew.

The Demon’s Den intrigues me, I’ll have to look though the Epic Seas to see if there are any decent functions for the ability.

the French have been actively trading with the Spanish, and are not too badly off for it. Convincing them to tun on their only trade partner would take some doing.

nah, I’d definitely save up to build that. 😀 Especially if I was playing as Cursed. Although, it might be a little difficult to make a physical model for this, since forts only have room for 8 flags…. I suppose you could squeeze some in on the sides.

I never said it hasn’t. Just a little difficult to have secretive conversations when you all live together. 😀 In addition to that some of the factions need to be SHOWN that the Spanish are a threat, and others are hesitant to fight an ally.
