I’m not sure if they’re underrated, but I’ve been growing more attached to Galleys recently. Having a pseudo-Oarsman on them is pretty nice as it often forces your opponent to expend extra time to finishing off a mastless Galley. In some cases it’s still better to just have the Oarsman, but it’s nice as a built-in feature.

I think most players are well aware of how powerful flotillas can be, especially in deathmatch. You need the right ship to drag one around, but there are numerous good options in every nation that has them.

Just as the title says. You could choose something like 3 masted square rigged ships, but I have a feeling it’s more likely to be something that has a ship-type keyword like 3 masted submarines, or Sea Dragons, etc.

My vote would be flotillas, though krakens might be rising to challenge that.

I pretty much always assume everyone has the correct point total, maybe I’ll start checking/estimating more often haha. Usually it’s hard to tell, but in this case I’m pretty sure he didn’t even have any crew, so it’s kind of amazing he “got away” with it. XD

That makes sense. At some point I’ll playtest the rules I laid out and see if any modifications are optimal. I think it would depend on how dangerous the players want the environment to be. Thanks for commenting!
