Any one work at a Renaissance Festival?
I did for 12 years and 8 of those years I was Aramis of the Musketeers along side my friends who played Portohs, Athos, and D’Artagnan. We carried Muskets around and a french historical flag.
Other Friends played the Cardinals Guards (6 of them), Lady De Winter, Rouchfort and King Louis.
We all learned to fight with Rapier and Dagger, and Quarter Staff and we would put on street fights for people to watch.
We did this in Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. It was a lot of fun
The years we didn’t get together I played with The Royal Navy in MN and we played a BIG version of the Pirate game with 4 fleets on an open field.
