I have converted the VASSAL module thread at Miniature Trading into an important page here at Pirates with Ben, so that will serve as the multi-format guide to getting VASSAL up, running, and playing.
This thread can serve as a way to connect with other players for scheduling games, asking questions, or whatever else to do with the Pirates CSG VASSAL module. (you can also use the PM (private messaging) system of course)

Nice to see some folks online over the past month, including a bunch of (new?) names I don’t recognize.
Haven’t posted the VASSAL standings in a long time… I’m sure this list is missing games, but it should include all of the VASSAL games I’ve been involved in along with a handful of others.
-For this list, games only count as losses if less than 4 players/fleets are involved.
Games I’d love to play on VASSAL on the game’s 20th anniversary (July 28th, which is conveniently a Sunday this year):
1. 3 player game at 30 point build total using only game pieces from Spanish Main AND only the Spanish Main rulebooks with no modern FAQ/errata/Pirate Code. (a truly “back in the day” game where there was no rules against duplicates or 3+ action ships/etc. Maybe Woelf or Piranha might have an FAQ from before CC was released)
2. Same as #1 except faction-pure with each player controlling a faction from SM, and using all regular official rules (except for making the fleets faction pure)
3. Same as #2, except a build total of 100 points.
Anyone who is down to sail that day? (feel free to say yes to a specific game of the three)
