Trip down memory lane for those of you who knew the original site back in the day.
It was never a very useful site, but was nice to look at, at least. It’s too bad the old forums aren’t accessible that way, but you always had to log in just to access those, so it’s understandable why it couldn’t be archived.
The link to the FAQ still works. That looks like the very last version I put together before making the full switch over to the non-Q&A format of the current Pirate Code.
The original “how to play” videos were great too, but they’d already pulled those a couple years earlier, and never did get around to replacing them before the site died. I think they were Flash based, so even if they were still accessible, getting them to run on browsers now would be tricky (most have either dropped support entirely or make you jump through several hoops to run anything that uses it).
Took me a few minutes of following links but I re-found the old Wizkids Pirates forums for the first time in a few years.
