It’s great that bbpress comes with the option for adding pictures to forum posts, but I’ve had a few people ask me how to add pictures to forum posts.
At the far right of the Visual post editor, you can click the button for inserting an image.
Source: This will be the image URL’s direct link. Generally a url generated by the image host followed by the .jpg/.png/etc file extension.
Image description: This is optional.
Dimensions: This field is auto-filled and please leave the “constrain proportions” checkbox active, because your image may be cut off otherwise. (or so big in rendering that it could slow down the topic loading speed)
And there you have it! The mighty Zeus.
I cannot recommend a high quality image hosting site that is free, because they are unreliable. I recommend backing up any pictures you have in at least 2 places overall to account for potential file loss.
