Hah! To be honest they have been going for more than I expected.
When all is said and done this weekend, I’ll post the total the “complete collection” (one of everything) went for… not to boast, but as a benchmark for the next crazy collector who is selling. 😉
I can tell you it has already exceeded the $5200 USD near complete set previous record that I am aware of.
What a long strange journey it has been.
Well, here we are – the last of my pirates items are up on eBay…
as of tonight, my sole copy of the uber rare Obago Deuce will be listed for auction!
Also a sealed Sleigh/Capt. Whitebeard. 🙂

Agreed, it looks like the factory set I once received for something or other.
But I don’t remember if the LEs specifically were included (my guess is yes).
My Fire and Steel set is now up on Ebay (sorry, does not include the Raptor Maw or Obago Deuce). 😉
Rise of the Fiends set will be up Saturday at noon mtn time (but does not include Specter).
My last copy of the cursed 10 master Guichian is up for sale, ending in 3 days.
And 2 more sets will be posted tomorrow eve.
FYI going up on 7 day ebay auction tonight will be my sole copy of the famed “Raptor Maw“,
and my sets of Frozen North and UL Barbary Coast.

FYI, going up today on eBay will be 2 more of my complete sets!
– 2008’s Savage Shores set – including the super rares, 6 oversized card LE’s, 2 ten masters (Celtic Fury and Shui Xian), the 16 unique (to this set) islands and assorted paper ephemera related to the set.
– 2007’s Pirates of the Carribean set – including the Super Rares, the 4 Limited Edition ships (91-94), the Promo card #300 Flying Duchman, the 4 oversized LE sea monsters(200-203), and 16 unique (to this set) islands and misc paper ephemera associated with the set.
Going up for sale today will be a sealed Zeus and a sealed Guichuan. 🙂

FYI, the above 2 auctions are ending tomorrow and are still at a low bid. Once they’re gone, they are gone! 😉
Also going up new tonight after 7pmish Mtn time are these 4 new auctions:
– My personal unbuilt set of South China Seas, including 1 Gale Force Nine ship and 1 Baochuan.
– My personal unbuilt set of PotSM Unlimited,
– 1 separate unbuilt copy of the Baochuan, the beastly 10-master!
– 1 small lot of unbuilt cards including the two incredibly hard to find “Home” islands as released only in the Swedish Donald Duck magazine in 2006 – available nowhere else. These were literally the hardest thing for me to find on my quest to “collect them all”. Only the Prototype ships and the Obago Deuce are more rare in the US. Comes with the unrelated 12 German variant cards I picked up so I could say I truly had “one of everything” officially released.

It’s been a looong time, but I’m finally giving up my horde and selling my personal collection on eBay (seller = holof3rn3s).
I’m planning on posting a set or two per week and the first 2 are posted and live right now; Revolution – Unlimited and Crimson Coast, with extras.
I’m generally planning on selling my entire set binder at once including the SR’s, Tournament prizes and other oddities that were part of the set, though a few cards (like the “Obago Deuce”) will be sold on their own due to their extreme rarity. We’ll see how it goes with these 2 auctions first.
In any case, each auction will specify exactly what you are getting with anything above “Rare” or “SR” clearly called out in the description, but feel free to ask me (preferably on eBay) if a particular set is interesting and you want further clarification on an item’s inclusion.
I’ve already had a few people message me asking for early endings at a particular price, but I’m preferring to see where each auction goes so everyone has a shot at them.
