Interesting ship, turning what the Cursed have been historically decent at (boarding) into a potential drawback. Given that boarding ability, I’d try to not board as often as possible with the PC, which could be difficult, given that the Cursed have a limited amount of true capital ships at their disposal. In a campaign, I imagine this would be pat of a larger battle group, with support ships all around.
In a smaller game, I think she’d do well as a lightly armed flagship for a more guns oriented fleet.
Something I just thought of to bypass the boarding ability, a Doctor crew. The Pirates must have at least one, and the Cursed might have one given all the custom stuff we’ve made for them. Hmmm…. If that would work then this ship gets much more interesting, especially if you can bring along a recruiter crew along, then you’d WANT to board so you could use the ability chain to flip the recruiter back over with the doctor.
