I am iPersons. Its been a while since I have last had the opportunity to engage with Pirates csg. Im glad to be see that there is an active community even after Pirates has long been out of print.
I got into pirates around 2009 or 2010. It seemed super cool to my friends and I at the time. I remember all the fun of finding the packs, building the ships, and battling with friends.
I would say that I am more of a collector. Although in the games I did play, I had a blast. This is such a cool game concept and you can do so much with it.
My favorite part of Pirates is the complexity of strategy and the assembly of the ships. Opening card packs is cool already. But adding the concept of assembling your ships? Amazing. I also have always been into strategy games and this one has never let me down.
You will probably see me a lot in the custom ships forum. I love creating ideas for new cards and abilities. I look forward to talking to you all.
