I played an extremely simple and short game with a beginner player.
Mixed:
Jackal’s Teeth + explorer
L’ Auguste + explorer, oarsman
Locker + helmsman
Cursed Americans:
Banshee’s Wail + El Fantasma, shipwright
Yankee
The setup featured two wild islands with 5 coins apiece.
The Mixed fleet went first and almost reached one island.
As the fleets docked and explored, El Fantasma aboard the Banshee’s Wail wished he had the captain ability instead of reverse captain.
As the Mixed fleet returned home gold, the Banshee’s Wail failed to damage the Auguste. Instead, she lost her shipwright.
On the next turn, the Banshee’s Wail succeeded in taking out a mast with the ram, but the boarding party was a tie.
