JakeParticipantAhoy. To start I should say that since I was about 10 I started making up my own pirate stories and now that I’m learning about more writing techniques and creating more story aspects I am finally starting to get things in motion to create them as a novel series. The main pirate colony in my stories is called Dampier, named after William Dampier and is located on the southeast coast of Papua New Guinea. And that is where I got my username, knight-of-dampier; on other sites I go by Kidfight2. I saw the first POTC movie on my 10th birthday and my family stopped at a store and my brother and I found a DJC pack and bought it to figure it out. Almost immediately we bought more and started making up our own ships and that’s when I started making up stories. I don’t really play the game that much, only when I’m home to play with my brother or my nephews, so I’m definitely more of a collector. My entire closet at home has hundreds of ships. My favorite thing about the pirates is the artwork, the fact you put the ships together and its just fun to build stuff, and who doesn’t like Pirates! Also the sea creatures are just plain cool. My favorite pieces are: Blackwatch (A DJC), Jormungandr (C DJC), and Celtic Fury (M SS).
I will also probably be making a lot of blog posts to the Custom Ships page.

JakeParticipantI am very open to suggestions and advice about my pieces, which is why some attributes like point cost and abilities on stuff will be marked with “?”. Anyways, here’s some more of my ships, crews and stuff:
Boomslang

Faction: Pirate
Rarity: Common
Point Value: ?
Number of Masts: 3
Cargo Space: 3
Base Move: S+S
Cannons: 4L-4S-4S
Ability: Schooner. ?
Flavor Text: The crew of the Boomslang colored the sails and hull to blend in with the forested coastlines, to then spring out and capture unsuspecting prey.
Vonn Botha
Type: Crew
Faction: Pirate
Rarity: Common
Point Value: ?
Ability: ?
Flavor Text: After leaving the crew of the Paradox, Vonn Botha started his own crew on the Gold Coast of Africa that would prey on the ships belonging to imperial powers that were bleeding the continent dry.
Paradox
Type: Ship
Faction: Pirate
Rarity: Special Edition
Point Value: ?
Cargo Space: 5
Number of Masts: 3
Base Move: S+S
Cannons: 3L-3S-3S
Ability: ?

JakeParticipantHi I am new to the site, but been playing Pirate CSG since I was a kid and made up about 12 of my own “packs” for ships as well as a novel-series that I’ve been working on since I was about 10. Heres a few of my favorites.
Retribution
Type: Ship
Faction: Cursed
Rarity: Uncommon
Point Value: 14
Cargo Space: 3
Base Move: L
Cannons: 3L-3S-2S-4S
Ability: Broadsides Attack.
Flavor Text: Since the Kepolo was sunk by the Pirates in Hawaii, the Retribution has become the most fear ship in the Cursed Legion. Armed with spikes coated in poison, boarding her is nearly impossible, that is if you can survive her bow-ram and deadly broadside cannons.
Requin
Type: Crew
Faction: Cursed
Rarity: Rare
Point Value: 9
Ability: Once per turn before you give this ship an action, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, this ship can be given the same action twice.
Flavor Text: The powers to patrol above and below the ocean’s surface with his ability to become a shark like many of his followers, no one is safe. Since Storm Reapers death, and Requin’s ascension to Warlord real change is coming to the Cursed Legion.
