Most people who visit this site have probably seen all 5 Pirates of the Caribbean movies, in addition to Master and Commander. Feel free to elaborate on any others you have seen, and if you would recommend them to fellow Pirates CSG fans.
I just finished The Admiral: Roaring Currents and liked it a lot. (trailer here) Plenty of action, excitement, and emotion. Loved how much time they devoted to the actual combat unlike a lot of movies.
Just finished the Michiel de Ruyter movie. Loved it!
“The Bounty” Is a good naval movie and is based on a true story. Not about Pirates though.
There is also “Black Sails” which is a prequel TV series to the novel Treasure Island.
Hansan: Rising Dragon is also enjoyable! (second of the Yi Sun-sin trilogy)
