Seems like a fine group here!
Ahoy and howdy, friends! I’m Corporal 17th mate Nenyone (Pronouced Nen like Ben, Yone like Own), or you can call me Nenny 🙂 I don’t recall when I played first, I was but a wee landlubber at the time, perhaps 10 or 12. I most likely have all my ships in a box somewhere, perhaps I’ll find a map and dig them up someday.
About a week ago, I was lying down in bed and suddenly remembered how much fun I had had as a kid playing this game, and was disappointed to remember that the game was out of print. However, a bit of treasure hunting has found me not only some new ships to call me own, but this website with many pirates to steal treasu- i mean play with!
So I wish I could be more of a collector, but with only about 20 ships I’m a bit of a sad pirate… But no worries! I’ve already hired more ships and they come by the mysterious “USPS” ocean as we speak. But I do love to play as well, probably 75% player 25% collector, so beware to see me on the Vassal currents!
My favorite vessel was the HMS Cygnet, if someone could remind me what expansion she came from or a place I could find a new cygnet, I’d be happier than a Schooner with Slippery Sails.
Alrighty, that was quite the mouthful so I’ll be shoving off now. Have a fun to do!
