Guess who has that Arabella to give you, Ben? 😉 PM me where to mail her, and she’s yours! A perk for all you do for this community…
Hello, All!
Call me Juliet – I won’t answer to Ishmael.
My username here is the same as previous to MT; a pirate-ified version of my initials.
My on-again, off-again years at MT were due to time constraints, not lack of interest. Now that ship has sunk, I’m very grateful to see how Admiral A7XfanBen has kept things going. He’s a real hero.
Thank you to those with whom I was able to successfully transact for Pirates items at MT. Y’all know I gave as good as I got, yarrrr!
My first pack was a Crimson Coast in the swag bag of GenCon 2005. None of the friends I attended with got excited about it, so they gave me their packs…but I must have badgered them into playing, anyway, because I remember a few games on the “ocean” of the bedspread where we were staying those nights. The tiny dice disappeared to who knows where, after the first rolls, didn’t they?
I’ve become a serious collector over the years. I lack less than 50 items to be able to say I have one of everything ever produced for the game, in mint condition. The one truly unique item in my collection is the production sample of a “Pirates Adventure Book,” won on eBay when another serious collector notified me by PM that he would refrain from bidding if I agreed to share the new game mechanics details on the MT Pirates forums. I did so. I’ve also recently re-shared that info w/Admiral A7XfanBen to post as he deems fit & his time allows.
I’ve got tons of “dupes” to pull from for playing, but don’t get the chance as often as I’d like. Plan to change that as my husband & I are luring in other friends for weekly game nights, and each time it’s my turn to pick what…
