Hi everyone, it’s Ben – still the biggest fan of the game probably ever, but now also the producer and publisher of the game. For many years my biggest life dream was to bring Pirates CSG back. I’ve done that, but I can’t keep doing it without your help. This is your opportunity to help the game stay in print, participate in the future of Pirates, and support an independent creator running a one-person business.

Paypal is available as a payment method – you might have to add the product to cart or go to checkout to see it.

-In order to get this month’s Mega Pack, you must subscribe by 11:59pm PST on the 15th! Subscribing in the 16th-31st date range means you will be in line for the next month’s Mega Pack.
-Each Mega Pack going forward will contain either 12 cards. Each Mega Pack will usually have 3-6 ships and 2-8 Crew/Equipment/Unique Treasure (with at least 2 cargo per card).
-Mega Packs are expected to be mostly historical releases. Some fantasy concepts for Pirates of the Epic Seas or other sets may be explored as well. Overall, I currently expect at least 2 out of every 3 new Mega Packs to be historical in nature.

Guaranteed to have at least one new ship type per quarter! (at least one new ship/sea creature type for every 3 Mega Packs)

Join the New Brethren Court! Subscribers receive voting rights: every month there will be a poll for subscribers with 2-5 options. Pick your favorite, and the one with the most votes will likely be the next Mega Pack released!

Some Mega Packs will build on previous ones, so you’ll want to stay subscribed in order to collect all the game pieces in a sequence. Ex: linked game pieces in different months, a story arc that plays out over an entire quarter, etc.

Details and Disclaimers:
-Subscribers can expect to be charged on the same day of the month they signed up on. (subject to change, but of course based on subscriber consent)  If you subscribe in the last ~15 days of the month, I may email you about moving your renewal payment date to the first half of the month, to help fund production and improve my cash flow.
-Your first month of the subscription is subject to availability as I adjust my print runs to the demand. If I run out during the month (before you subscribe), there may be a 2-4 week delay before you get the Mega Pack of your signup month.
-Your booty box will be shipped once I have your renewal payment for that month.
-Any extra copies (from the regular print run) that might be made available separately as individual products will be at a 50% or higher premium. ($90+) They also will not be available until the following month (at the earliest). There is no guarantee that there will be extra copies available, so subscribing is the only way to guarantee that you get the new releases and participate in keeping Pirates afloat.
-You must be subscribed before the 16th of each month in order to receive that month’s Mega Pack. This “last call” date is subject to change but will be updated here if changed.
-The extra $5 is to cover shipping costs. If there is an additional one-time charge of $4.99 when you first sign up, consider that a one-time charge for onboarding a new customer into my subscription ecosystem.
-This Mega Pack subscription box offer may end at any time. If it does, your subscription will be cancelled and if you paid any money that didn’t get you a Mega Pack, that month’s payment will be refunded.
-The voting poll to help decide the next release will usually be sent out the month prior to that Mega Pack getting produced and shipped. Therefore you may not be able to vote immediately upon signing up, especially because each poll will likely run for a week or less rather than an entire month. Ex: the December poll will be sent out in November so I can start work on the December Mega Pack as early as possible.
-No AI art will be used for any artwork!

-This product is not affiliated with Wizkids. This is your chance to support a passionate one-person business that is making the product in the USA!
-Health hazards: Styrene is a possible human carcinogen; do not inhale it. Recommend washing hands and cleaning up area after building the ships. Punching pieces out of the cards can be messy – it’s best to clean up the styrene dust after handling. Not for children under 3 years, and only recommended for people age 8+.
-The laser cutting can distort the artwork slightly, seen if you look closely. Some cards may have laser scorch marks on them, which can actually look cool as battle damage.
-There may be some areas where the cuts are more jagged.
-Some of the artwork may be slightly misaligned from front to back, due to the difficulty of aligning both the print jobs and the cut process.
-Thoughtful design: These game pieces will usually not be playtested, but they were carefully crafted and edited using a combination of Ben’s extreme experience (600+ PCSG games played!) and guidance from four different point-costing systems.

Tips for constructing your new fleets:
-Thicker plastic=More durability! My styrene is a bit thicker than the plastic used for the original cards, but please be patient when building the ships – they can be fragile.
-When punching out the pieces, it’s best to push on the areas near where they are connected to the card via tabs (ex: the top and bottom of masts).
-There may be discrepancies on slot tolerances – the ships should construct well as shown in the pictures, but results may vary. Some slots may have small extra bits of styrene that must be removed in order to fit the pieces together.
-Best to leave ships constructed – due to the laser burning away material, they generally don’t go back into the cards well.
-Recommended to insert some parts in isolation to test fit before building a ship in full.

Material: .04″ white styrene with UV ink. The high-quality ink doesn’t scratch or flake!

FAQ
Why are you doing a subscription model? Reliable revenue. This business has been very unreliable from month to month. Having a subscriber base gives me confidence that the business can stay afloat, gives me personal peace of mind, allows me to keep making Pirates releases, and ensures there are new products coming out consistently instead of making something and hoping it sells. Getting new customers has been difficult, so I am looking to reward the game’s most passionate and loyal fans while including their voices in the future of the game.

What if I don’t like a Mega Pack? You can cancel your membership at any time. Due to product costs and the time it takes to make them, I’m not refunding Mega Packs that were already mailed unless in the case of product defects, such as the ships can’t be built/etc.

Will the Mega Packs be made available as individual products at your Store? Any extra Mega Packs produced might become available at the Pirates with Ben store later on, but at a higher price than $60. No guarantees of availability or price.
