Description
Return to South China Seas Part 2! (Mega Pack)
Set sail in huge capacious junks as the Jade Rebellion continues to surge! In this non-collectible Mega Pack, you can sail the South China Seas with a pair of my new 7 masted junks and a six masted junk. This release also features the debut of THREE new generic cargo: Merchant, Archer, and the Grenades equipment! Plus 5 named crew from the Zheng He treasure fleets of 1400s Ming China.
The price is higher than my usual Mega Packs because it was originally released exclusively to subscribers of my Buccaneer’s Booty Box, which is my primary product.
- 3 Ships: Qinghe, Liujia, Zuochuan
- 8 Cargo: Wang Jinghong, Zhou Man, Kuang Yu, Fei Xin, Gong Zhen, Merchant, Archer, Grenades

- Gameplay details seen on the cards pictured. Unboxing video at bottom of this product description as well.
- Designed and Produced by: Pirates with Ben (A7XfanBen)
New keywords:
Merchant: Once per turn if this crew or ship is within S of any ships, home islands, or forts, the controllers of each game piece may agree to trade any number of cargo between the game pieces as a free action (if applicable, up to their available cargo space). If the trade is between friendly game pieces, all friendly game pieces involved must unload at least one non-identical cargo; you cannot trade between friendly ships and your own home island.
Archer: This ship gains one 3S cannon that can shoot from any mast (even an eliminated mast), but eliminates crew instead of masts when it hits. If this ship carries cargo with “firepot” or “fire shot” in the name, you may assign it to this cannon instead of a regular cannon. When assigned to a ship of the same nationality, this crew is not subject to the No-Stacking Rule.
Grenades: If this ship has any crew, once during each of your turns you may choose an enemy ship touching this ship. Roll a d6; on a 5-6, the target’s controller replaces one mast with a fire mast and eliminates a crew; if the roll is a 1, eliminate a crew from this ship.
Hidden Gold (by Xerecs): This ship has 2 extra cargo spaces that may only be assigned treasure.
Disclaimers:
-This product is not affiliated with Wizkids. This is your chance to support a new company that is making the product in the USA!
-Health hazards: Styrene is a possible human carcinogen; do not inhale it. Recommend washing hands and cleaning up area after building the ships. Punching pieces out of the cards can be messy – it’s best to clean up the styrene dust after handling.
-The laser cutting can distort the artwork slightly, seen if you look closely. Some cards may have laser scorch marks on them, which can actually look cool as battle damage.
-There may be some areas where the cuts are more jagged.
-Some of the artwork may be slightly misaligned from front to back, due to the difficulty of aligning both the print jobs and the cut process.
-Thoughtful design: These game pieces have not been playtested, but they were carefully crafted and edited using a combination of Ben’s extreme experience (600+ PCSG games played!) and guidance from four different point-costing systems.
Tips for constructing your new fleet:
-Thicker plastic=More durability! My styrene is a bit thicker than the plastic used for the original cards, but please be patient when building the ships – they can be fragile.
-When punching out the pieces, it’s best to push on the areas near where they are connected to the card via tabs (ex: the top and bottom of masts).
-There may be discrepancies on slot tolerances – the ships should construct well as shown in the pictures, but results may vary. Some slots may have small extra bits of styrene that must be removed in order to fit the pieces together.
-Best to leave ships constructed – due to the laser burning away material, they generally don’t go back into the cards well.
-Recommended to insert some tabs into slots in isolation to test fit before building a ship in full.
Material: .04″ white styrene with UV ink. The high-quality ink doesn’t scratch or flake!
