Description
Bring history to life in your games with the most iconic ship and naval commander of all time!
I made my original customs of HMS Victory and Lord Nelson back in 2011. They have received a few updates over the years, and now are ready for action!
These custom game pieces were designed in Inkscape. Credit to my friend Gigi for the draft files I built on. I made sure to include a lot of historical details – the armament is accurate for each gun deck, up to the carronades on the forecastle. Her color scheme is matched to existing photos of the ship and in some cases the historical record of which paints were used (including the bow and the gunport lids).
Disclaimers:
-This product is not affiliated with Wizkids. This is your chance to support a new company that is making the game in the USA!
-Health hazards: Styrene is a possible human carcinogen; do not inhale it. Recommend washing hands and cleaning up area after building the ships. Punching pieces out of the cards can be messy – it’s best to clean up the styrene dust after handling.
-The laser cutting can distort the artwork slightly, seen if you look closely. Some cards may have laser scorch marks on them, which can actually look cool as battle damage.
-There may be some areas where the cuts are more jagged.
-Some of the artwork may be slightly misaligned from front to back, due to the difficulty of aligning both the print jobs and the cut process.
-Card background will look slightly different from pictured due to changing it. (same general colors and parchment/sail theme)
-Thoughtful design: These game pieces have not been playtested, but they were carefully crafted and edited using a combination of my extreme experience (600+ PCSG games played!) and guidance from four different point-costing systems.
Tips for constructing your new ship:
-Thicker plastic=More durability! My styrene is a bit thicker than the plastic used for the original cards, but please be patient when building the ships – they can be fragile.
-When punching out the pieces, it’s best to push on the areas near where they are connected to the card via tabs (ex: the top and bottom of masts).
-There may be discrepancies on slot tolerances – the ships should construct well as shown in the pictures, but results may vary. Some slots may have small extra bits of styrene that must be removed in order to fit the pieces together.
-Best to leave my laser cut ships constructed – due to the laser burning away material, they generally don’t go back into the cards well.
-Recommended to insert some parts in isolation to test fit before building a ship in full.
Speedy shipping: Most orders ship on the same or next day! (some Friday-Sunday orders ship on Monday)
Material: .04″ white styrene with latex or UV ink. The high-quality ink doesn’t scratch or flake!

An amazing vessel and awesome crew! These are absolute powerhouses, but still appropriately priced. Can’t wait to conquer the seas with Lord Nelson and his flagship! Great attention to historical detail and nostalgia!

Victory and Nelson look fantastic! The pieces cooperated quite well during assembly, and required barely any clean up work with a knife on the slots. Although designed for absolute dominance of the waves, their point cost is appropriate, and I look forward to unleashing them on my unsuspecting enem-I mean friends!

HMS Victory and character Nelson are such a great set. Victory’s design is so reminiscent of British ships I love it!
