Pirates of the Epic Seas is a massive custom fantasy set made by Ben, the game’s most passionate fan.  These five game pieces were carefully selected and created as a preview of what could be to come….

Each ship and creature features brand-new custom artwork fashioned over many hours of graphic design and editing.  Berzerker is the wild and chaotic flagship of the bunch, captained by a vicious Overlord whose ambitions know no bounds.  Pyrannus is the first hydra ever released for Pirates CSG – a fire-breathing monstrosity straight from your opponent’s worst nightmares!  Mastaba represents what The Cursed are capable of: using their unnatural powers to raise mummies from Egyptian tombs!

This is a hand-crafted item with love put into each stage of its creation process. I check every slot of every ship and creature before they are deemed ready to be sold. Every decal is carefully applied. With the strength of 3D printed PLA, these are actually stronger and more durable than the ships from the original production run!

Disclaimers and Warnings:
-These have had minimal playtesting and there may be rules and/or balance issues during gameplay when using them. These are unofficial game pieces, additions to the game to be used only in games where all players allow them.
-These are made with additive manufacturing, so there is only 1 card per ship (the deckplate card). The models are still constructible, but you do not punch them out of cards. In addition, there are some areas of the ship where there is a little less artwork due to the overlapping parts where the decals would otherwise pinch up. However, those areas are mostly not visible once the ship is constructed.
-Materials: 3D printed PLA and laminated glossy vinyl decals
-Crew artwork made with Adobe Firefly.
-For ages 8 and up.

Nationality: Cursed

Ability: Junk. As part of a move action, this ship can initiate a boarding party against a ship up to S away from her, without having to ram; the boarded ship can’t use any boarding bonuses. You may double the range of any of this ship’s cannons each action, but if you do, that cannon must roll a 6 to hit. If this ship shoots at more than one ship during her turn, she gets +1 to her cannon rolls against any ship after the first.
Flavor Text: Some say the Berzerker would cause devastation and chaos without a single member of her crew aboard. To regular sailors, it seems as though the ship is possessed to seek and destroy. Rumors abound that the vessel is actually a terrible dragon from a mythical age brought back to life in ship form by Xenthalos himself.

Ability: Once per turn, roll a d6. On a 1, you may give any ship in your fleet +S to her base move this turn. On a 2, you may give any ship in your fleet +L to her base move this turn. On a 3, you may give any ship in your fleet +1 to her cannon rolls this turn. On a 4, you may give this ship the same action twice. On a 5, you may give any ship in your fleet an extra action. On a 6, you may give an enemy ship an action.
Flavor Text: Occasionally mistaken for Doragon the Magnificent, the Berserk Overlord can shift into his dragon form at will. He was born in Hell, and has now risen from the depths of ocean trenches to command Cursed legions.

Ability: Sea Monster. Hydra. Any of this sea creature’s S-range cannons may shoot fire shots; if they do and those cannons hit, replace enemy masts with fire masts instead of eliminating them.
Hydra: A hydra is a type of sea monster. The following abilities are specific to hydras and override the Sea Monster keyword: Measure a hydra’s movement from the middle head slot on its base. Hydras may move and shoot using the same move action. A hydra may be given repair actions at sea or at any island, including while it is submerged.
Flavor Text: This infernal creature’s hellish flames burn ships to their waterline. As the legend of his terror grows, so too does the fearmongering across the seas….

Flavor Text: Shock and horror consume those who have looked upon this mummy. Those who have heard the legend dare not look, for a fate worse than Medusa’s punishment awaits them….
